Dan Monahan

I studied film at The University of Wisconsin, in Madison. However, a youthful lust for radio drew me into a sordid affair with WLHA. It began (as these things often do) in a dark basement. That was 1978, and the relationship has spiraled, on again / off again, for all these many years. In between, I worked in Hollywood, directing my affections, as best I could, to movies, TV  shows and commercials (some you’ve probably heard) but all the while, I knew I was cheating. Playing in my head was the sirens’ song of WLHA. So, I have returned to her. As one professional after another has told me, “There’s nothing that can be done.”
