Well they may be Cruisin' but they are specifically doing so in a 1951 Oldsmobile Rocket 88, the subject of the song by the same name by Jackie Brenston and his Delta Cats featuring 17-year-old Ike Turner on Piano. So here are the Delta Cats swerving all over Highway 61 in Mississippi on their way up to Memphis to record what many consider to be the first Rock and Roll record.
