This is actually the second time we've tried this one and we got no takers the last time either. The song depicted is from the Rolling Stone's Beggars Banquet album - Parachute Woman, as in"Parachute Woman land on me tonight" with a further reference to New Orleans. Possibly the Stone's dumbest song, but still fun. Thanks for playing!

Interesting, but we don't play that one much (if at all) in part because of the subject matter, a terrible nightclub fire in Natchez, Mississippi in 1940. But thanks for playing.

I think the guy in fire is named Natchez, and this is Natchez Burnin’ by Howlin’ Wolf, which was on Chess records.

Mick met a gin soaked barroom queen in Memphis. She tried to take him upstairs for a ride. He apparently wasn't up to it, so she had to heave him right across her shoulders and then there was something blowing his nose, etc. Good going John!
