And the winning answer is........"Another brick in the wall". Nicely done, John. Maggie, and Jackie. DING!

Another brick in the wall

Jaclyn and Maggie are probably right, but I’d like to think it’s We Built This City from Jefferson Starship

Another brick in the wall

Another brick in the wall by pink floyd

Its Friday. Are you up for five fun hours of jazz tonight? If so, join me on WLHA 7 PM to midnight for Lakeshore Late.
No commercials, no news, no nonsense, just jazz.

There was a very fun concert in Madison this past week. Delfeayo Marsalis and the Uptown Jazz Orchestra played in the Capital Theater. It was excellent. In fact, I am still jazzed about seeing them, so tonight I plan to play recordings of a few of the tunes they performed. And because Delfeayos virtuosity has me in the mood for even more hot trombone jazz, Ive pulled out a big stack of favorite records from slidemen J.J. Johnson, Carl Fontana, Kai Winding, Bill Allred, Bill Watrous, Tommy Dorsey and Trombone Shorty to give us a couple of hours of tenor trombone tones and blissful brass. After 10 PM, I will tone things down and cruise up to midnight in a more mello mood.
