"There's fire on the mountain, lightning in the air Gold in them hills and its waiting for me there" There was no Marshall Tucker in the Marshall Tucker Band. The band took its name from a blind piano tuner whose name was inscribed on a key to their rehearsal warehouse, which he had previously rented. The members originally thought the name sounded cool and intended it to be temporary, not realizing it was a real person. Good going Richard!
