The WLHA Production Department created a very wide variety of station IDs. Some were simply call letters and frequency carts intended to be used as music transition elements and as aids to the jocks who liked to play the tunes, but were mic-shy and preferred to speak as little as possible themselves. Others were statements of the station slogan of the time such as the "Cool, Sexy, and Fun" or "Station that Clicks in '76" series. Every form of attention-getting was applied. Some featured sexy womens' voices with heavy reverb, others were intended as spoofs of IDs used at other stations, and many were comedic self-depricating remarks about the station and the small size of the audience. It can never be said that WLHA took itself overly seriously, and the proof is in these audio files.
