Big time radio jocks of the pre-1976 period frequently had "jock shouts" and personal jingles to open and announce the start of each hour of their programs. This was a programming element too attractive to pass up for some WLHA announcers, and by the mid-1970s, it was possible to hear quite a variety of such shouts and stagings on WLHA during the more up-tempo pop/rock music shows. Some were sung, others were big-voiced announcers over timpani rolls, and then there were the weird ones that were just goofiness for the fun of it. Here is a growing collection we have snipped from airchecks and the old production master reels.
